Robbie Phillips Coaching

1:1 - £25 an hour (2 hours recommended)

The 1:1's are the best for those wanting to get the most out of the session! In the session we can look deeper into your climbing and really focus on key weak points in your performance or training plan. With the 1:1 sessions comes the possibility of an additional training plan to follow designed specifically to suit your needs. With regular assessment sessions (once a month) you will receive new updated plans to follow that will help maintain your performance levels and maximise your training to see the greatest benefits possible from your climbing.

BLOCK BOOKING: 6 SESSIONS FOR THE PRICE OF 5 (£250 UP FRONT)

1:2 - £35 an hour (2 hours recommended)

The 1:2 sessions are really good when you and a friend who regularly climb or train together want coaching. This session won't be as specific as a 1:1 but can often be really beneficial when building a training plan for the two of you to follow.

BLOCK BOOKING: 6 SESSIONS FOR THE PRICE OF 5 (£350 UP FRONT)

1:3 or 4 - £45 an hour (2 hours recommended)

This plan can be really good for those who usually climb in a group together and who want someone to have a look at their climbing and see in what new ways they can challenge themselves or how they can change their routine to better their performance on the wall. This session doesn't include training programs.

Group Day Sessions (A whole day's coaching)

This can be a mega day of climbing and coaching for a group fo you who are really keen! The day will depend largely on the group level, but for an idea of what to expect, here's a list of topics generally covered:

  • Warming Up (and Down)
  • Focussed Technique Analysis (Video Analysis included)
  • How to Train your body (Endurance, Strength, Power)
  • Tactical Approach (Route Reading, Clipping, Resting)
  • Mental Approach (Falling, Confidence, Motivation)

The types of groups that do these sessions vary from beginner level climbers who are climbing in the f4-f5 range to intermediate level climbers who could be anywhere from f6a-f6c and advanced level climbers climbing up to and above f7a. I do a lot of these sessions with youth competitors, generally through clubs and organisations to aid aspiring competition climbers with preparation for their big events!
