Training Programs

 

The Training Programs we build are specifically designed to suit the climber who will be using it. They are very personal and every program will be different. There is a multitude of different types of programs we use for different types of climbers, for example, if you are just starting out, your program may have a lot more technical training aspects to it, however, if you are already a skilled climber and need to improve physically, then perhaps a periodised training program would be better suited? We build programs for boulderers, sport climbers, trad climbers, all-rounders and climbers of all ages and ability levels from total beginners to the very best climbers in the country!


 

My opinion is that structure in anybody’s climbing and training will aid improvement, reduce chances of injury and motivate you as a climber more than ever! Having something to work towards that you know for sure is making you better is always a comfort and will enhance your motivation to keep pushing your limits!

 

The process of building a training program involves discussing with the client his or her ambitions, their commitment to climbing or training, what facilities they have available etc... Most of this I will find out either during our coaching sessions or via questionnaire/phone call.

 

Even after the Training program has been built, there is also a support service available for further questions and help with training either through e-mail or phone call.
